Introducing PlayVS Fighter Select
This Fall, the best Street Fighter 6 teams will battle it out for high school supremacy.
With the addition of Street Fighter 6 as a high school title starting this Fall season, we are excited to announce the launch of a new league format aimed at giving each high school team an opportunity to give it their best shot, in an elevated skilled league concept.
In Fighter Select, high schools will get one chance to put their best team forward and compete in a higher level of competition in order to find the best Street Fighter 6 teams in the U.S. or Canada. Teams of 3 will compete in weekly competitions in the East or West Coast Fighter Select League that follow the PlayVS high school schedule. From there the top teams will compete in bracket-style playoffs with the top teams from each league fighting it out in the finals broadcasted on the PlayVS Twitch channel.
For participating teams, there will also be multiple opportunities throughout the season to win prizes and giveaways with additional prizes awarded to our finalist.
High school programs with teams new to competing in Street Fighter 6 or that have more than one team will be able to enroll in the traditional PlayVS regional leagues.
