Building our esports program from the ground up has been an exciting challenge. By finding the right staff support, recruiting through PlayVS, and organizing with tools like Discord and Google Classroom, we created a structured, competitive team in a short time. My goal is to connect high school esports directly to higher education – helping students pursue scholarships, explore sponsorships, and even earn college credit through academic esports courses. It’s all about turning their passion into purpose and opportunity.
