Esports has been a lifelong passion of mine, from playing on my first Nintendo to connecting with students over games as a teacher. During the pandemic, I helped launch a PlayVS team that gave students a way to get involved beyond traditional clubs, bringing together players from every background. Now at York Academy Regional Charter School, I’m focused on building a diverse, inclusive community where anyone – whether a gamer, streamer, or content creator – can contribute. Our team also works to make a positive impact beyond the screen, building digital citizenship, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our community both online and off.
