I coach esports because I have seen firsthand how powerful it can be for students. Esports gives them a place to belong, to connect, and to grow. What often starts as a love for gaming turns into confidence, resilience, leadership, and friendships that extend far beyond the screen. Our program is built on community, bringing together students from different backgrounds to support one another and celebrate success. For many players, esports is the first space where they feel comfortable being their authentic selves and finding their people. The most rewarding part of coaching is watching students come out of their shell, believe in themselves, and work together around a shared passion.
